Smart solutions
The Evoluent C is a new line that joins the familiar Evoluent 4 series of mice. Like the rest of its family, the Evoluent C is a vertical mouse especially designed to keep the wrist in an ergonomically responsible position.

The following changes to the Evoluent 4 were made in designing the Evoluent C:
  • Shape: a less convex shape fits the palm better. A smaller angle results in a better arm and wrist position.
  • Scroll wheel: the placement of the scroll wheel is more in line with the natural direction in which the fingers are pointing.
  • Buttons: longer buttons for a better grip and easier operation.
  • DPI setting: the cursor speed can be set to 500, 1000, 1500 or 2000 DPI.
  • Aesthetics: a new modern design with a luxurious look.
  • Technology: a new sensor for even more accurate tracking.
  • Driver: the Evoluent C is a plug-and-play mouse. To adjust the button settings, download the latest version of the Evoluent Mouse Manager software. This version is still compatible with all the other Evoluent mice except for the Evoluent Standard.
Please note that the Evoluent C does not replace the Evoluent 4 series but is a new line in addition to the Evoluent 4 series.

The Evoluent C is available in two models: a silver version with a cord, and a cordless version in metallic and gold.

The advantages of vertical mice

As shown below, using a conventional mouse involves twisting the wrist as far as it can go. The vertical mouse keeps the wrist in a more natural ‘handshake grip’. In this position, it’s easier to operate this mouse over a longer period, and it’s more comfortable, too. VDU users can really benefit from this feature. It’s easy to use this mouse for hours on end without even realizing the time going by.

On average, we spend half of our time at the computer with the mouse in our hand (source: EDCL, 2011). And finally: moving from a conventional or other kind of ergonomic mouse to a vertical mouse is a small step. It takes little time to get used to this mouse.
