AltMOUSE and RES Workspace Manager

Before implementing AltMOUSE in RWM make sure you have the latest version of AltMOUSE.

There are a few known issues with AltMOUSE when using RWM.

  • Security settings within RWM block AltMOUSE for communicating with efficiencymonitor
  • RWM doesn’t provide the correct office/language version for AltMOUSE

When AltMOUSE doesn’t recognize Office but does display hints on Windows explorer.
Please download the latest version of AltMOUSE and configure the following settings in AltMOUSE.

Under the Settings tab->Select Supported Applications. This will open a new window. Please select the office version and language you are using and click the save button. Once you click the save button AltMOUSE will restart and should display the Shortcut keys in office.

AltMOUSE crashes or stops working unexpected. How can this happen?

There could be several reasons why this could happen. To understand why it happens and how to solve please contact the servicedesk.

AltMOUSE doesn’t work after deleting SitStandCOACH

In this situation you need to download the latest version of AltMOUS. If the lastest version was already installed,  choose ‘repair’ instead of ‘modify’ or ‘remove’ during the installation.

Can AltMOUSE be installed if SitStandCOACH is already installed?

AltMOUSE can be installed if SitStandCOACH is already installed. However, we advice to upgrade SitStandCOACH to the latest version first. 

After this, you install the latest version of AltMOUSE.

During the installation of AltMOUSE it says there is already installed a newer version

To install AltMOUSE you need to download the latest version.  If SitStandCOACH is also installed, we advice to upgrade it to the latest version first. 

How can I add a new license to AltMOUSE?

Go to the tab page "Help" en choose "Licence". Via the button "Select new license" browse to the location where data.zip is stored and select it to use.

How do I enable the learning list with personal suggestions?

Use the shortcut key combination Ctrl + Shift + F2, or right mouse click on the AltMOUSE icon in the task bar and click 'Enable learning list'.

 

How long is a trial period?
The trial period is valid for 20 days. The trial period starts when AltMOUSE is first started.
Is it possible to use AltMOUSE on iOS / Apple devices?

No, so far it is not possible to run AltMOUSE on iOS / Apple.

The error "Pure virtual call" appears, what should I do?
