Ergonomic background

A compact keyboard without the numeric keypad, which allows placing the mouse closer to the keyboard. Research shows that 90% of users do not use the numeric keypad, if ever. With a compact keyboard you work more comfortably, because it lowers the reaching distance to the mouse (Cook C. et al., 1998). This lightens the load on the forearms and shoulder. With the Goldtouch numeric you’ll find all of the keys you need in close proximity. While some external keyboards may include a numeric keypad on the right side of the board, this is less than ideal for both left-handed users and right-handed users, who can’t easily reach the keypad where it’s anchored. In addition, a built in numeric keypad on the right side of your keyboard forces many users to position their mouse outside of normal range of motion. With the Goldtouch Numeric you can position the numeric close to your body this reduces the amount of movement needed to enter data rapidly.

Tactile feedback.

The Goldtouch numeric provides excellent tactile feedback, so there’s no need to press down too hard and strain your wrists and joints. This numeric has a crisp tactile feel, and the right amount of audible feedback. This balance between recognizing the pressure point and the key pressure force promises an appropriate balance between strength of actuation and typing speed.

Plug-and-play.

The Goldtouch Numeric can be added to the computer without having to do a manual configuration. Just put the USB cable in your computer or a free USB port and start working.

Two extra USB-ports.

The Goldtouch Numeric features two low-power USB expansion ports. With the two USB ports you will be more flexible than ever because you can use them for mice, USB memory sticks, or other powered devices.

Nice features.

The LED on the top of the Goldtouch Numeric shows if the keypad is connected and ready to operate. This numeric is available in the colours black and white. In total this numeric has 22 keys, including escape, backspace and tab. You can switch on the integrated navigation keys with the NumLock and use conveniently the functions: go to home, page up and down, end, insert, and delete. The integrated navigation keys lead to more efficiency. The Goldtouch Numeric is compatible with all computer or laptops, which have a USB port and have a Windows or Linux operating system.
