Guarantee
We are glad that you have chosen a BakkerElkhuizen product. BakkerElkhuizen products we design and manufacture with the highest care. Nevertheless, something can always go wrong. Of course we will solve this for you. This guarantee policy was implemented during 2022. To accommodate you as a customer, these extended guarantee periods apply to all purchases from 01-01-2022.

At BakkerElkhuizen we have 3 types of products:
  1. Non-electronic products
  2. Electronic products (mice, keyboards, etc.)
  3. Software

Each category has its own guarantee (term), whereby we are happy to give you a lifetime guarantee for non-electronic products. For software we refer to our general terms and conditions, NLdigital Terms and Conditions which can be found here. Where we do not include exceptions in these guarantee provisions, these General Terms and Conditions apply. If a guarantee period from a supplier or the statutory warranty period should be higher, we will give you that better guarantee. But as stated earlier, in many cases we are happy to give a much longer guarantee.

Guarantee and guarantee period
For all products that you buy from us, at least the legal guarantee applies, but usually we go further. Legal guarantee means that a product must do what one can reasonably expect from it.

For our products we guarantee you the following

[1] Lifelong guarantee applies to all non-electronic products with the exception of all (gas) spring parts, for which we use a guarantee period of 5 years.

It is therefore important to register your purchase for a longer guarantee period. Companies can register a collective purchase in 1x.

If an item becomes defective within the aforementioned guarantee period (see schedule) after delivery, BakkerElkhuizen will immediately deliver you a new copy. If the product is no longer in the range, BakkerElkhuizen will deliver a suitable alternative after consultation with you. The guarantees offered by us do not affect the legal guarantee. The warranty periods apply in all countries where BakkerElkhuizen products can be purchased.

Exclusion
BakkerElkhuizen does not guarantee items that have become defective due to non-compliance with the instructions for use, incorrect use, unprotected transport (for example in hybrid work situations), abnormal environmental and / or use conditions, overload, inadequate maintenance or incorrect installation. Batteries, discolouration, contamination and normal wear and tear of the item are not covered by the guarantee conditions.

Guarantee and complaints procedure
If you wish to return a defective BakkerElkhuizen item within the guarantee period or you have a complaint about the product, please contact the party (the reseller or BakkerElkhuizen) where you purchased our products. Where necessary, in consultation with BakkerElkhuizen, they will ensure proper handling.

If you have purchased the products directly from BakkerElkhuizen or if you want to report a complaint directly to us, please send your complaint via our contact form. State as much as possible the details of your purchase, including customer number, order or invoice number on which the delivery took place and the nature of the complaint.

You will receive a response from BakkerElkhuizen within five working days. If BakkerElkhuizen determines that your complaint is justified, you will receive a new version within five working days. If the product is not in stock, you will receive the expected delivery time. If the product is no longer in the range, BakkerElkhuizen will deliver a suitable alternative after consultation with you. You will also receive a return form and RMA number by e-mail within five working days with which you can return the defective item to BakkerElkhuizen.

For the delivery of the replacement item you will receive an invoice, which will be credited when BakkerElkhuizen has received the defective item back and after inspection it has been determined that the guarantee claim is justified. Return deliveries without return form and/or RMA number will not be processed by BakkerElkhuizen. It goes without saying that if you have had your product registered, you can refer to this registration and only have to return the defective product with this addition. So your registration is also very useful for this.

Defect on receipt
BakkerElkhuizen or the reseller where you purchased the product are, depending on the agreed delivery conditions, responsible for any damage to the products during transport. Therefore, check the package immediately upon receipt. If the item is defective or the packaging is severely damaged, please contact the party (the reseller or BakkerElkhuizen) where you purchased the product. She will ensure proper handling.

If you have purchased products directly from BakkerElkhuizen, please send a message via our contact form. State your customer number, the order or invoice number on which the delivery took place and the nature of the defect, if possible with a photo from your phone.

You will receive a response from BakkerElkhuizen within five working days. If BakkerElkhuizen determines that your complaint is justified, you will receive a new copy within five working days (if in stock). If the product is not in stock, we will carry out the delivery as soon as possible. If we cannot come to a solution quickly, BakkerElkhuizen will deliver a suitable alternative after consultation with you.

You will also receive a return form and RMA number by e-mail within five working days with which you can return the defective item to us. The product must be returned in its original condition, if possible in the original packaging and including all accessories. Do not stick stickers etc. on the packaging but return them in a blank packaging / outer box.

For the delivery of the replacement item you will receive an invoice, which will be credited when BakkerElkhuizen has received the defective item back and after inspection has determined that the item is indeed defective.
